CSU congres 2023 ‘Keep in Touch’

For the inimitable Sheila Gijsenman of PPeople, I directed an interactive stage show for the 10th CSU conference. Merel Westrik took the lead, experts from CSU and specialists outside shared their knowledge with the guests in the room.

Interactive with Buzzmaster

What worked extremely well during this show: the interactive tool Buzzmaster. The people in the room then joined in the conversation with co-host Michel Loeve. This way the conversation did not stay on stage, but expanded to the entire room.

High tech and human

The LED screen of eleven by six meters matched the innovative 'high-tech' character of the show. At the same time, there was the human side: a green world with cozy seating areas for the speakers and bunches of flowers to hand out to the guests.

Highlights in a nice cruise

The design we created with Studio Roadwork brought the whole thing together beautifully. Special attention was paid to the exciting and festive atmosphere surrounding the highlight: the presentation of the CSU Innovation Award for a young entrepreneur.

For me as a director, this was a total production: from show flow to technical script, from building the atmosphere to choosing the music and lighting. A nice challenge was creating a nice pace, keeping the tension tight and translating a lot of information into an experience full of feelings.

This created a show where guests not only listen, but also participate and meet each other. And how fun is it if you also swing along to the JukeBoxBoys? Judging by the big grins, that was indeed a highlight.
